Informational Meeting: in the Alpen Haus on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 12:00p.m. regarding the VOFS-ELK Mountain parking lot. The Annual Tent Bash Party: will take place at the Alpen Haus on the evening of Saturday July 3, 2010. The festivities will kick off at 7:00pm and last until 11:00 pm. The Entertainment this year will MACE - N - DICKSON. There will be glow necklaces and sparklers for all of the children! There will be plenty to eat with a variety of foods, as well as extras such as NY Strip Steaks, and bags of clams. Artist in Residence: Robyn Needelman will be working with children in the Art Room from Aug. 12th through the 23rd. Please check out the attachment with Robyn's full Bio and some of the projects that she would like to accomplish while in residence. Charity Auction Project: This years project is a 2 shelf bookcase ~ now available in the Art Room. If you are interested in doing one for the Auction, please sign up in the Art Room. Haunted Forest and Halloween Night: takes place on Saturday, Aug. 14th. All the children will meet at the circle at 7p.m. and we will Trick or Treat up and down the main road. Everybody is encouraged to Trick or Treat. The younger children will be allowed into the Haunted Forest before dark, and then proceed through the evening for the older crowd and adults. During the Haunted Forest, we will have snacks and activites in the Alpen Haus. Annual Chicken BBQ: at the Alpen Haus on Aug. 22nd at 2pm. with music by Mark and Friends. The cost is the same this year as in the past: $16 for adults, $12 for kids. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW; ALL RESERVATIONS DUE IN BY THE 18th. |
